Wonderful Experience!

Posted byGlitter354on 10/3/2009

After having a botched haircut that took almost a year to grow out...I knew it was time to find a new salon. After looking around, I decided on the Pink Papaya. Great decision! The staff is very friendly, I was given a tour of the salon/ spa, given a complimentary paraffin hand dip, a hand massage, and a wonderful shampoo. Although The Pink Papaya is a bit pricey, it was WELL worth the money! I got a wonderful haircut which has received many compliments! I have returned 3 times since my first visit, and have been extremely satisfied every time! Definitely deserves 5 stars!

Never Go Back

Posted bybeecr08on 3/24/2009

I went for the first time to get my hair lighter shade. I've made it clear if it could be done since I have naturally dark hair. The hair sytlist told she could do it. I've found out during my appt. that she has been with same salon years since they opened; not new stytlist. I even showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair to be. After drying and straightening w/flat iron my hair, I've mentioned it doesn't look lighter..not much difference. The stylist only mentioned "you have to go outside in the light to see the color". I was surprised she didn't even ask if I liked the color or is there something wrong. It turned out I've paid almost $100 for something I could of done the same results or ten times better in a box. I should complained to the manager the same week, but I didn't. I will never go back and told my friends not to go too. I later found out others and friends had bad experiences and the salon has too high prices esp. for a simple hair cut. --Sprindale,AR

I love the Pink Papaya

I recently got my hair done at Pink Papaya and it was awesome! The environment is really colorful and fun and most important, I love my hair! I have gotten lots of compliments. I wanted a radical change and they gave me exactly what I wanted. I can't wait to go back and try some of their spa stuff, like a massage or a facial!!!!!

Terrible Experience

My recommendation would be to go to any other Aveda salon than this one. My hair has never looked worse!
